So you can see from these photos that she’s beautiful. And it goes without saying that such a little sweet pea is already very beloved. But if you want to know why she’s so bad-ass, you’re going to have to check out the explanation on her daddy’s tender, hilarious, and oh-so-relatable blog they let me do this?
I enjoyed this newborn session with the A family so much that I actually worried that I overstayed my welcome, for real. Why did I linger so long with the A family? It could have been their beautiful, cozy home in Durham… or their furry family members greeting me at every turn… or even the fact that Daddy & I went to college together at ASU way back in the day… But really, I think the thing that kept me there clicking my shutter longer than usual was the palpable love and awe these two new parents had for their baby girl AND the sense of humor they shared as they adjusted to all of the trials and tribulations of life with a newborn.
Thank you so very much to the A family for welcoming me into your home. Zoe is perfection. And I think you two are pretty much the bee’s knees. : ) xo
